I have recorded over a thousand songs since 1983. All types of music from rock to space to ethnic. Some of my music has been used in planetarium shows and TV commercials. Here I periodically post some of my songs. This is just a place where I put a few songs (for what ever reason) from time to time.

Feels Like an Aurora - This is based on an earlier song that I finally got around to finishing. I added "startled sounds" recorded by my wife, Aurora. I sneaked in a little of the Russian Formanta EMS-01 synthesizer into the song's beginning and end.
Ethnic Apparition - This song comes out of my interest in the Prophet-5 synthesizer and the music on the album "My Life In The Bush Of Ghosts" by Brian Eno and David Byrne. This song has an ethnic feel to it. The horns near the end showcase sounds made with the Roland SH-1000 and SH-2000.

Cutting The Fat- I was talking one day to my friend Rob (Visit: www.robline.com) and I told him I needed a name for the song I was working on. He said "probably another fat song about me" I said yeah, that's it, I will call it Cutting The Fat. This song has practically every synth I own on it. The main melodies were made with the Mini Korg K1.

The Potch - This song was fun to make. This song has a lot of cymbal action and it uses the rare ROLAND SH3 to make the slow "pitch up sound". The Sequential Circuits TOM drum machine was used for kick and snare.
* Yamaha CS40M Demo Song - Only the Yamaha CS-40M and Oberheim DX drum machine. No MIDI on the synth, just played in by hand over the Oberheim's drum song. The purpose is to showcase some of the CS-40M's sounds.
* Formanta EMS-01 Demo Song - 1980 Russian synthesizer demo song. (This is a demo played by hand over a drum pattern with no MIDI or sequencer). All sounds were made with the Formanta EMS-01 only. (Showcasing use of bass, lead and chorus strings}. The EMS-01 has its own phaser effect which you can hear all over the song.
Bob & Rob Jam - Back in January, 2004, My co-worker Rob came over and we made a little song while jamming. Later I went back and re-mixed it and added in a few more parts. Not quite a polished-off song, but it always had an interesting feel to it. Based on bass notes from the Yamaha CS-40M. played in by Rob.

* Demo songs are usually test songs I made to show how a particular vintage synthesizer sounds. All sound in demo songs are played by the one keyboard over a simple drum pattern allowing you to hear all the kinds of noises the particular synthesizer can make. ( For example: all sounds heard in the "Formanta EMS-01 demo song" only use the Formanta EMS-01 for all its sounds - except the drum pattern it is played over ).
